Adventurous Journey Challenge 2023

On Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Seychelles organized its second Adventurous Journey Challenge. This event was part of the activities on the National Youth Festival Calendar for 2023. The activity was open to all Award Centers on Mahé, as well as affiliated members of The Seychelles National Youth Council. The challenge saw the participation of ten teams, eight Award Leaders, and two Volunteers. The Challenge consisted of ten stations around the east and central regions of Mahé, where the participants had to discover and learn about cultural heritage sites and monuments in the region. They journeyed from Stade Linite to Roche Caiman, Mont Fleuri, Bel Eau, Bel Air, Victoria, and back to the starting point.
