Bronze Award Adventurous Journey

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Seychelles recently organized an expedition with forty-seven participants who had completed their six months activity at the bronze level. Due to the continuation of the pandemic covid – 19, the participants did not camp during the activity.

The aim of the activity is to encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery as well as develop leadership, team-building skills, and decision making, whilst undertaking an adventurous journey in a small team. The activity was held on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th September 2021 with participants from English River and Plaisance Secondary School, and 30th September to 01st October 2021 with participants from Anse Boileau and Mont Fleuri Secondary School. The Principal Secretary for Youth and Sports Mr. Ralph Jean-Louis attended the activity with the participants as a sign of encouragement.
