Africa Regional Conference

The Africa Regional Conference, held from May 5–7, 2025, at the Voyager Beach Hotel in Nyali, Mombasa, brought together key stakeholders to explore strategies for advancing the growth and sustainability of the Award across the continent. Under the theme “Taking a New Bearing,” discussions focused on government engagement, financial sustainability, and strategic innovation, reinforcing the need for adaptation to ensure long-term success.

Representing Seychelles, National Director Mr. Gerard Pierre and Assistant Programme Officer Mr. Neil Waye-Hive played an active role in these conversations, gaining insights that will shape the Award’s future direction within the region.

Beyond knowledge-sharing, the conference fostered a spirit of collaboration and collective responsibility, inspiring new approaches to elevate the program’s impact.
